De Franse kunstenaar 3TTMAN (Louis Lambert) ziet leven en kunst als ongescheiden zaken.
3TTMAN, l’homme trois têtes, de man met drie gezichten, is zijn drieledig alter ego dat staat voor onbevangen kijken vanuit alle richtingen. Afbakeningen tussen highbrow en volkskunst, het populaire en het alledaagse , het moderne of het folkloristische ziet hij niet.
De geboren Fransman leeft en woont al meer dan 20 jaar op Tenerife en is internationaal gelauwerd en gewaardeerd.
3TTMAN ontwikkelde een cementtechniek waarmee hij plastieken zoals deze maakt. Hij werd daarvoor geïnspireerd door spontane en baldadige teksten die hij her en der waarnam in nog nat cement in allerlei straten. Gewapend met zand, cement en water brengt hij een unieke vorm van street art naar Heerlen. Het stuk is te vinden in de Plaarstraat, vlakbij de Roofal die hij eveneens maakte in de passage in de Oude Veemarktstraat. De afbeelding is een verwijzing naar deze Roofal met de titel “Watching-upon-us” .

3TTMAN, l’homme trois têtes, the man with three faces, is his tripartite alter ego that stands for uninhibited viewing from all directions. Demarcations between highbrow and folk art, the popular and the everyday , the modern or the folkloric he does not see.
Born French, he has lived and worked in Tenerife for more than 20 years and is internationally acclaimed and appreciated.
3TTMAN developed a cement technique with which he creates sculptures like this one. For this, he was inspired by spontaneous and wanton texts he observed here and there in still wet cement in all kinds of streets. Armed with sand, cement and water, he brings a unique form of street art to Heerlen. The piece can be found in the Plaarstraat, near the Roofal he also made in the passage in the Oude Veemarktstraat. The image is a reference to this Roofal titled “Watching-upon-us” .
